The Central Plaza is an integral part of a major extension of the Kansas City Convention Centre. The new square focuses on an iconic sculptural gateway linking the Convention centre with a planned new Performance Centre by Moshe Safdie Architects.The Central Plaza is designed to provide both a practical space for external exhibition as well as more intimate breakout spaces for convention delegates.
